11:03 am - I'm afraid you didn't hear or do you want to see a crazy lady fall apart in front of you?

alison24601
*mourns the presence of idiot fangirls*

And I die a little inside. . .

and I also have a particular amount of hate for this:

Next show on tap at the Virginia Theatre (where "Little Women" closed recently) will be the Four Seasons-based jukebox musical "Jersey Boys," according to Playbill. No casting or dates have been announced. "Jersey Boys" recounts the tale of four blue-collar guys who becomes pop stars with hits suck as "Rag Doll," Sherry" and "Big Girls Don't Cry."

A musical with Big Girls Don't Cry in in it? Damn jukebox musicals. DAMN THEM I SAY!!!!!

8:00 am - Tony's disapointing :(

kiera1
I thought that they weren't all that great this year. I mean the performaces weren't anything that was amazing although I did like the dirty rotten schondrels (however you spell it!) and did Jesse Martin even perform I don't remember that? I will not comment on any of the winners fro people who have missed them and do not know yet, but I liked the best musical winner! I was very happy. When you guys do get a chance to watch them there is this annoying commerical that uses the song somewhere from west side and I was happy at first but then they kept playing it and it was annoying. Tribut to Steven Sondein (sorry alison I know my spelling makes you cringe but I am in a hurry) that was very awful! You will see what i mean when you watch it! anyways those are my thoughts last years were way better!

I understand! They must have made Adam Pascal grow his hair like that for the movie to help repel the annoying fangirls! So instead of We love Adam Pascal, he's sooooooo hot!!1111111111111111, it'll be We love Adam Pascal. Too bad his hair is ugly. . .

I miss you all. And some of the members of my new host family eat dogs. (Come on, you KNOW you have to comment on that. . .)

Finally, in the works, a Broadway musical staging of “The Apprentice.” Donald trump made the announcement last night on NBC’s television series “The Apprentice.” Barry and Fran Weissler and Mark Burnett will produce the stage version, which is targeted for Broadway in spring 2006.

*gets a whole infantry of cannons*

I never have really had a hight opinion of the Weisslers.

In better news, guess what my new host mom collects. . . . wait for it. . . wait for it. . . Cow bells!!!! So when nobody's home I do stirring renditions of Over the Moon.

There was one other thing, but I forget what it was. Sorry. If I think of it I'll add it on.

8:24 am - JCS

kiera1
ok, so you all get to hear about my lovely good friday experiences because on this thing you can't shut me up! haha
anyways so I was getting already to watch Jesus Christ Superstar with my family for the first time since I got the dvd for christmas when my brother Timothy comes walking in saying he took my movie to school so his class could watch it and he left it there. :( I was very angery but we went to the video store to rent it but all they had left was the modern version. So I spent Good Friday watching the wrong JCS!
After I got over that though I quite enjoyed the modern one because it was a different perspectie on the whole Mary, Judas and Jesus triangle! Anyways thats all I had to rant about, hope you are all having a nice long weekend!

alison24601
Dance, no, never do they dance. . .Collapse )

By the way, Amanda and anyone else who cares, guess what? (maybe Nathan already told us this. . .) Did we know that the guy who directed the production of Sweeney Todd that we saw was the guy who wrote Seven Stories? Now that I think about it I think we did. Oh well.

Miss you all!

Just so all you Urinetown types know! We're talking about Thomas Malthus in history class tomorrow (as in "Hail Malthus!"). I'm very amused. :D After reading a very long and awful essay, I have discovered that it DOES make sense: Malthus beleived that society could never be perfect because the population was too great and the earth couldn't keep up, so soon we'd either have to kill each other off or starve (or have to pay to pee, I suppose)
